Myla Hillman,

Today I spent the day at court again and doing a number of things to help other parents and you to see me as soon as possible.  I am also taking great care of myself and eating plenty.  Someone even said that they thought I had gained a few pounds from a month ago.

Today if you were not hidden from me by your mother and were able to spend quality long term time with me, I would like to get things ready for your birthday tomorrow!  I would be asking your friends to come, getting your gifts ready, and taking good care of you so you would have the rest you need to enjoy your special day.

I do remember when you were born and I did everything that I could to help your mother to relax and be in a comfortable environment.  I made a complete sound track for her and held her when she wanted me to.  You were late, over 14 days, and we did everything we could to have you in a safe way.  Your mother was very brave and together we had you two years ago tomorrow morning.

I love you, I wish I was with you today, and I want to be with you ever day.
